Franklin & Marshall |
Franklin Marshall clothing first began in the hills surrounding Verona, Italy in 1999. The range of clothing was designed around 1950s vintage collegiate style, with the words “Franklin & Marshall” emblazoned across it. Word soon spread and alumni of the famous F&M College in Pennsylvania, USA reported seeing Franklin & Marshall Merchandise for sale in Europe, which confused the college greatly as they, at the time, didn’t sell merchandise that bore the college’s prestigious name. It wasn’t until many different sightings of the merchandise that Franklin & Marshall College decided to investigate the outlet for the college styled prep wear. This two year investigation led them directly to the designers in Italy that after lengthy discussions led to the agreement between the two parties that allows Franklin Marshall to appear on the hugely popular clothing that is seen in many top designer fashion outlets throughout the UK, Europe and USA. Franklin Marshall also has two flagships stores in Milan and Paris, ensuring the two fashion capitals of the world has a representation of the ever growing brand.
